Thank you for your interest in our multi-site NMT Autism Study: A Study of the Efficacy of NeuroModulation Technique with Children Diagnosed with Autism
As of February 2009, data collection for the autism study has been completed. Please check back for complete study results. |

How do I determine if my child is eligible for the study?
Before applying to be in the study, please check to see if your NMT researcher is still accepting applications. If so, please give your completed application with all of the above material to your NMT researcher as soon as possible. Each research site will begin the study as soon as enough qualified applications have been received. Your researcher will notify you within a few weeks if your child has been selected to participate in the study, and he or she will let you know what you will need to do next. As children will be randomly selected to be in the study from the pool of eligible children at each research site, no child can be promised or guaranteed a place in the study.

Where is the study being conducted?
Here is a list of the cities where the study is being conducted. Below the list of locations is the contact information for each practitioner. Please do not apply to be in the study if you live a significant distance from the nearest research site and you cannot guarantee than you will be able to bring your child to the researcher's office twice a week for six weeks, or if you will not have time to meet the other requirements of the study. If your child has to be dropped from the study because he or she has missed an appointment, not only will we not be able to use the data from your child, we will not be able to use the data from the child that your child is paired with for the study.
